As children reach the cusp of primary and middle school. It becomes imperative for teachers and parents to make the learning interesting else the student completely disengages from the subject (possibly forever). Since these children are still in their formative years of language. Teaching Nouns to Grade 5 and 6 expands to acquiring skills to become writers and speakers.

Some Quick Tips to teach Nouns to Grade 5 & 6 students

  1. Plan fun games around the topic;
  2. Clarify their Basics first;
  3. Polish your knowledge before you take the lesson with the child;

You can use these tips to make a plan forward. Grammar is supposed to make our lives easier, but not difficult. All of it is possible if we get the basics right.

Note to Teachers and Parents

Explain to your students and children that learning the language and it’s basics is important. Have a class discussion on the benefits of it in writing and expression.
